Paris: Dozens of hooded protesters launched projectiles at riot police, smashed store home windows, torched vehicles and burned barricades throughout an illustration within the French capital on Saturday towards police violence. The police fired again volleys of tear fuel.
Hundreds of individuals had started marching peacefully in Paris when the clashes erupted between police and pockets of protesters, most wearing black and their faces lined. Some used hammers to interrupt up paving stones.
The protesters had been denouncing police brutality and President Emmanuel Macron’s safety coverage plans which the demonstrators say would limit civil liberties.
They waved banners that learn “France, land of police rights” and “Withdrawal of the safety regulation”.
